One night during World War II, the anti-aircraft batteries in Los Angeles, California were turned

to the skies and opened fire for hours in an infamous chapter called The Battle of Los

Angeles.

But it turned out not to have much of a place in military history, instead where it

gained notoriety was in ufology circles.

As some believe, it was an alien ship they fired upon.
