Off the coast of Nova Scotia is a small island where, for centuries, people have been digging

for treasure.

Ever since an apocryphal small boy rode his boat there and found a treasure pet beneath

a block and tackle attached to a tree branch, treasure seekers have been digging on Oak Island.

But has anyone ever yet thought to skeptically examine this situation and see whether or

not they might all be wasting their time?
