Before we get the show started, you know,

one of the things that's an advantage or sometimes a disadvantage to doing a midnight program

is that by the end of the day, you've probably heard a lot of the news,

you've heard a lot of the reports, and you've heard a lot of

things like I'm about to say, which is that, obviously, even though we've moved into September

12th here in the East Coast, we're all still thinking about the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks,

New York City, Washington, D.C., and of course, Pennsylvania. And the number of Americans whose lives were lost and whose lives were touched by those

unbelievably horrific events, we all know where we were that day.

You know, I grew up always hearing people say that, you know, I remember where I was

the day that JFK was assassinated.

Well, that was before my time.

And the infamous date burned into my memory, where I can say I remember exactly what I was doing at that moment is the 9-11 attacks.

I happened to own some radio stations at the time, and we were going through our broadcast

morning.
