But mostly we talk about Jewel and Beed's calf and more specifically James Hardin's Achilles' injuries with the update that Hardin has been experiencing sorenness in his Achilles for months, and that he doesn't expect it to go away.

So the Sixers snapped their three-game losing streak, a 116 to 101.8 win over the

desperate but sort of dysfunctional Dallas Mavericks, a game where the Sixers came out flatter than

Kyrie Irving's earth to start the first half, but then came, turned it on a little bit

in the second half, defended a little bit better, executed their offense, a little bit better

down the stretch, especially in that fourth quarter of use a 10-0 run, and came out with

the victory. Of course, that's not really the story out

of last night's game anymore. As after the game, James Hardin says that he has been dealing with

his sore Achilles for months, which certainly came as a surprise to me. In fact, I had asked

a team personnel whether or not it was fair to characterize Hardin's

Achilles injury as having happened during that Chicago game, and they said it was. I don't know if that was just a miscommunication. Maybe Hardin kept to himself. We don't really know because we talked to Hardin after we talked to Doc Rivers, so we haven't had a chance to question Doc on his management of this specific injury. the internet didn't react all that well to that news.

There's a lot of uncertainty, which seems like a hallmark of this team going into the

playoffs.

I guess what is sort of like your overall take?

Well, I think my first take is that if he's been dealing with the Achilles Sornness for months,

that coincides with two months of all-MBA level play.

Where we had been talking about, wow, he looks so much better physically.
