For today's episode, our topic is The Six of Pentacles. Let's begin.

All right, last week we talked about the Bummer Five of Pentacles,

which features two beggars limping along in the snow.

In this week's episode, we're looking at the six of Pinnacles,

which also depicts two beggars.

But there's a difference.

Here they are receiving aid, which right away gives you a clue.

This card has dual meanings of receiving help and also being charitable. Let's look a little closer. So I want to start

off by discussing these beggars. Now in this card, they're on their knees unlike the figures in the Five of Pinnacles.

Body language says a lot, and kneeling is a sign of humility.

That old saying, it ain't too proud to beg comes to mind when I see these two

figures. Now you'll also notice that they have their hands out which is a sign of

receiving help. But only one beggar is getting coins. This

can indicate inequality. Now the figure standing doles out the coins, which is a symbol of generosity and charity.

In his hand he holds a scale, and scales are symbols of justice, fairness, and equality. Now notice we have the inequality and

the equality both here in this card. Now you'll also notice that the hand that's doling out the coins is held in the same
