Six defend our jury spokespeople have appeared in court, charged under the Terrorism Act.

The six, who have been named as Timothy Crosland, Melanie Griffith, Dawn Manor's, Patrick Friend,

Gwen Harrison and David Nixon had been detained by police since Tuesday,

arriving at Westminster Magistrate's Court this morning.

They faced a total of 42 terror-related charges.

The charges come under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act,

meaning they carry a potential prison sentence of up to 14 years.

A seventh spokesperson is facing one charge under the Terrorism Act in Scotland.
