Hey guys, welcome to another episode of the Blessed and Bost-Up podcast and another installment to our She Is Uncompromising series.

We have Dr. Shala Walker back here on the show. She is our Shala does a lot, but I'll introduce her or reintroduce her as our residential Bible teacher.

Shala does Bible studies in the society is a great resource even for me to just understand the word and go in deeper in the word.

I want it to on this series talk about being uncompromising about understanding and applying God's Word because it's something in my opinion that when it comes to this Christian life, it gets glossed over.

We talk so much about the stuff of maybe like going to church or the work that we can do for Christ, but something we've even been talking about in the society is it's not about what we can do for God.

It's what we can do with him and in order to do things with him, you have to know him.

I just really want to talk about the importance of understanding the word because it's so dangerous when we rely on third party interpretations via sermons or other people or prophets and all of that.

We've even had a few guests on this show talk about folks who prophylize to them.

And so it's so important that we know the word, the context of the word and that we live it out because it's this manual that we have.

And I personally believe it's often under utilized and I wouldn't even say that it's under utilized by the fault of the individual, but really just because they don't know.

And so I want to address that and we can start there first of for the new believer who wants to live for God, they want to study the word they want to understand the word, how are they, how can they really get acclimated to studying the Bible.
