Today, you'll get help prioritizing your relationship with God from the book of Second Samuel.

If you'll turn to Second Samuel, chapter 7, then verse 18,

then when King David in and sat before the Lord, now that phrase also found in first chronicles,

which also relates the same event here in his life.

Let me tell you what's happening at this particular time.

The scripture says in verse 1 of chapter 7,

it came to pass from the King's set in his house,

and the Lord had given him rest round the belt from all of his enemies.

So what's happened up at this time, of course, he's defeated the Philistines,

he's brought the territory under control, says that the King set unto Nathan the prophet.

See now, I dwell in the house of Cedar, but the Ark of God that is the Ark of the covenant,

dwells within curtains, that is, within the tabernacle, which is made primarily of cloth and so forth.

And Nathan said to the King, go do all that's in on heart, and the Lord is with thee.

And it came to pass that night that the Word of the Lord came to Nathan saying,

go and tell my servant, David, thus saith the Lord,

shall thou build me in the house, for me to dwell in,

and then he gives him a message that he's to tell David.

And if you move on down to verse 17, it says,

according to all these words and according to all this vision,

so did Nathan speak unto David.
