0:29.4	interesting news from last week and arm you with the facts. So let's start with the Russian drones in Poland.
0:35.6	Tuesday night, NATO member Poland scrambled its air force and downed
0:39.1	Russian drones that entered its territory. The drones were purportedly part of a large
0:44.2	Russian attack on Ukraine. Now, of course, Russia denies targeting Poland, claiming its drones could not
0:49.8	even reach the country. Belarus suggested they straight off course due to electronic warfare
0:55.6	interference. Some believe this may have been Russia simply probing Polish and NATO air
1:00.7	defenses, a Russian response to the Polish president's visit to the White House last week or both.
1:06.2	This marks the first time that a NATO member state is known to have fired shots in the war. So a little bit more
1:13.2	detail here. The Warsaw airport was closed for a brief time. Shelter and Place order was issued for
1:18.3	Eastern Poland. Polish F-16 fighters were joined by Dutch F-35s, an Italian surveillance plane,
1:24.3	and a German Patriot Air Defense systems, and mid-air refueling planes. According to the
1:29.5	Ukrainian Air Force, as many as 400 or 415 drones were launched in that attack. At least eight were
1:35.4	detected crossing the border with Poland. First time in history of NATO that the alliance fighters
1:41.7	had engaged enemy targets in allied airspace. That's an interesting fact.
1:46.4	The Russian drones have crossed Poland before as recently last week, but the scale and scope of
1:50.8	this infiltration was a lot bigger, approximately 19 and 14 have found, were found to be downed
1:59.0	in Polish territory so far in response.
2:01.7	This is also a big deal.
2:02.9	Poland is calling for consultations under Article 4 of NATO.
2:07.2	That's not Article 5.
