Hey and welcome to The Podcast. I'm Josh and there's Chuck and this is Stuff You Should Know,

the Rambo Bambo Double episode about sitcoms, probably the most important thing in any of our lives.

Yeah, this is sort of our homage to the more specifically the American multi-camera studio audience sitcom,

even though we're going to talk a little bit about other forms of the genre.

Yeah, the Brits come up here there, maybe a Kiwi appearance.

What we're going to try to do everybody is do this sitcom style in record two 30-minute episodes.

I don't know if they're going to be 22 minutes including the ads.

That would be a stroke of genius.

We're going to do our best, which means we're probably not going to do Listen or Mail.

Let's get right to it, right?

Yeah, let's talk in sitcoms and just right out of the gate we should explain what a sitcom is.

Everybody knows what a sitcom is, but if you stop and think about the word,

it's actually a Portmanteau of situation and comedy, a sitcom.
