That is me. I'm Dr. Adam, real life professor of communication, long-time follower of the TLC series Sister Wives, and eternally glad that you are

spending some time with me today. Welcome back. We are continuing, obviously, Sister Wives,

season four. I've been hearing some news about Sister Wives, potentially with season 20. I'm always

hopeful, always excited, but who knows, because we've got lots more sister Wives stuff to come. No matter what, I've got many, many more seasons of this show, and so it's fun to go back to the old stuff. I'll be enjoyed last week's episode. I don't think it was for everybody. The Q&A format isn't necessarily everybody's favorite, including a couple of you, that were like, you know, I don't actually ever watch these episodes, but I guess I'll listen to the podcast. Thank you if you did that. I can understand. If you wanted to skip it, though, no problem, but if you did, hey, thanks for coming back. I appreciate you. Let's get to it. Sister Wives Season 4, Episode 5 titled Infertility and Nesting, which is quite a title for an episode, isn't it?

Cody rolls up to a cul-de-sac, mostly vacant lots, and reminds us that they have been in Vegas

for a month and are still living too far apart for his taste, and that the kids are not functioning

as siblings in the way that they used to, which seems to be a major, major concern of Cody's.

He also wants to be able to see every child every day. It's a lovely sentiment, and I believe that he means it. But, you know, where is this sentiment now? Where has it been? I say this all the time, and even I get tired of hearing myself say it, but it's just depressing. It's just depressing. And people's morals and their focuses shift, especially as kids get older, but he certainly

cares about some kids being seen every day. No, you know, no kidding. Well, Cody's also worried about

finding homes all in the same school system and all these logistic things that are legit. And Cody

sounds a little bit worn out by the search, but also this feverish focus about just wanting this done.

He calls the current location perfect and two of the homes are already

built, so if they qualify for these homes, Janelle and Christine could move in relatively quickly,

implication being that they would have an easier time getting financing, I guess. Well,

Janelle on the couch with everybody, confirms that they are working with Mona, their agent and

Tanya, a loan officer to see what they can do as far as

financing, and they're all shaking hands getting together at the cul-de-question, and Janelle, very wide-eyed, said she's going to end up, she being Tanya, the loan officer, is going to end up saying, are you guys nuts? Keep in mind, this is not the cul-de-sac that'll ultimately move into. It gets confusing, though, so I can understand that. I'm confused all the time. That's part of my charm.

Mary, being very merry, gallows humor and all, says when she originally got the plans for the homes, she just kind of wanted to throw them out, thinking there's no way we're never going to be able to do this. I'm not going to get my heartbroken. And she sounds a little bit sad as much as she is joking, so this is something painful. And Cody will talk about and get quite emotional himself about the setbacks that the family has faced in the past, so it's not like this isn't coming from anywhere valid on Mary's part, by any means. Robin right now very much more positive, says it'll be a big payoff, it's going to be God telling them, see, I told you it'll

work out, and she has this big warm. I'm not trying to be mean, kind of dopey, meaning super, super

happy smile. She's so different. She's so full of positivity. She's still doing devious and
