That is me. I'm Dr. Adam, Professor of Communication, a longtime follower of the TLC series Sister Wives.

Hope, as always, that you're doing well. Thanks for making me a small but hopefully positive

part of your day today. It really means a lot. We are continuing our coverage, our look back,

or whatever you want to call it, of Sister Wives Season 4, picking back up with episode number two,

Polygamous Date Night. As a reminder, this is the first time I have ever covered this season

of the show. I've made my way through seasons one through three, and of course, season 19, and a little

bit of season 18 is kind of a long story. But man, I am having so much fun covering these old

sister wives episodes with you, even

though I had some trouble finding this one. I typically watch this stuff on Discovery Plus,

but I had to hop over to Prime Video. Just, I don't know, I couldn't find this episode on there,

so I was kind of irritating. Actually, briefly thought maybe I just had to skip to 4.3 because I thought,

well, you know, the first episode of

season four was, you know, over 40 minutes. So maybe it was a two-parter. But no, just whatever happened

to Discovery Plus, or at least my Discovery Plus, was not working. But I found it, got my notes.

I'm so ready to talk to you. Thank you again. It is almost the end of June, almost July, and I'll talk about what that

means for some bonus content at the very end of this podcast, but we will get there in just a

second. Let's talk instead first about Sister Wives Season 4, episode 2 titled Polygamous Date

Night. Oh my goodness gracious.
