That is me. I am Dr. Adam, Professor of Interpersonal and Family Communication, and I am indeed a longtime follower of the TLC series Sister Wives. And I haven't talked to you about that show in a while, have I?

And so if you're listening to this, you probably already know what you're in for, but I think

that I'm going to try again.

I think I'm going to try to ease my way back into Sister Wives content where I left off.

And I'll get to those specifics in just a moment.

But I wanted to say thank you to everybody who has stuck with me,

everyone who has jumped on or stayed subscribed or sent me nice emails,

commented on Facebook, you name it, all this outpouring of support

for me, but much more importantly for the memory and recognition of Garrison Brown.

This has been a difficult thing to navigate as a creator, and I want to be very clear that I

know that this podcast is not important in the grand scheme of

things compared to what happened in the very real situations that the Brown family has navigated

and are navigating and will continue to. But at the same time, a lot of you listen to this podcast.

A lot of you make this podcast an important part of your

life. And so as much as I really thought for a while, I'm just going to quit. I'm just going to be

done. Or at the very least, I'll never talk about sister wives again. I want to try and get back there.

I want to try to continue because as a researcher I'm kind of used to looking at

things in life that are uncomfortable or unfortunate and I'm not acting as a

researcher here I'm acting as an entertainer I want to make you think I guess but

really I just want to make you happy or entertained or help you pass the time I
