Hi there. I am a professor in real life of interpersonal and family communication. And I am a long, long time follower of the TLC series Sister Wives. And boy,

that's what we're here to talk about today. We're here to continue our journey together through

season 19 of Sister Wives, specifically

episode number six.

Can you believe we're already up to episode number six, by the way?

Maybe it's just me or just the way this semester has been going for me in general, because

I've been so busy in a good way.

But just time keeps on going so quickly.

But yes, this is season 19 19 episode six, which is titled,

He Delivered Me from All My Fears.

Thank you to everybody who reached out to me, by the way,

about the dreaded driveway conversation between Cody and Robin,

and the fact that there might have been some post-editing, shall we say, some purposeful choices made

to frame that conversation chronologically differently. I appreciate y'all letting me know.

It did seem a little fishy, didn't it? If you don't know what I'm talking about, just don't worry about it.

Or look it up if you want to. That's totally your call. It always frustrates me when those things become so clear because I know I mention it in the podcast sometimes where I feel

like something is kind of producer-driven, and man, do we get some of that in this episode, by the way.

And it frustrates me in part because, you know, I don't want some ways. But at least don't make it obvious.
