Hello and welcome back to Middle Ground.

We're so excited that you guys are here today.

And today I'm actually here not with Caroline, but with my sisters, which is very odd.

They're staring at me like deer in the headlights right now.

And I think they're a little confused as to what we're about to do.

But I really wanted to have them on the podcast because you all had requested more family members.

And I feel like they are very good at being honest with me about how they

perceive me. And so I'm looking forward to hearing a little bit about that. And they also have

really wildly interesting lives, I think, or at least stories. I don't know. That's just me.

But so first off is my sister Ashley. Ashley is my

oldest sister. She really likes to fixate on the old part. We've learned this weekend.

And she was a teacher for a long time, now full-time momming to her two girls. And then we have Shelby

with us, who is a nurse, a pediatric nurse manager. Don't forget that. Yeah, yeah, the day this

comes out, you know, so you're promoted. You've done it.

And she also moms full time to her four kiddos.

And yeah, so I'm going to go ahead and let us get started.

Shelby, I'm going to let you lead the way if you're comfortable and sharing your grounding moment. I guess my grounding moment would be branching out

and we really kind of created our own position. One of my closest friends at work and I kind of pitched

an offer for us to split this manager position so we could stay part-time and, you know, the worst they

could say was no, and we pitched it, and we got it, and it's super exciting, and kind of can't

wait to dive in and get some new people on board. So new nurses in Omaha hit us up. That's

really exciting. Super exciting. What about you, Ash Growny moment from the week?
