I keep saying it, but thank you. I'm so grateful as well as so many of our listeners who

appreciate so much having this examination, as it were, of the struggles in the spiritual life and their nature

and their remedies. And to be guided by you, we just so appreciate your time. Well, it's a privilege

to do it. And why don't we just move into the next of these experiences? And we returned to Kathy. She had those six weeks

of prayer that were initially so consoled and then became so desolate and difficult as a pain

of 10 years standing is touched in her heart. And then with Father Reed's help, she's able to

work through this and bring this to the Lord. And we meet her now three months after that meeting with Father Reed. And she said Father Reed's help, she's able to work through this and bring this to the Lord.

It was a great help, and as I told you, I am able to pray again.

It has remained tumultuous, but gradually I find it easier to share with God a place of pain and anger. It's just staying in communication, an ongoing prayer, and gradually

things open up as we do this. And the really good thing is that when I do, I feel less hurt, less angry, and less

alone. That isn't quite right. I don't feel alone anymore on that deep level. I'm able again to

use the ways of praying that Father Bauer taught us in those six weeks, choosing the scripture
