Good morning. Dwayne here at the tack room Bible Talk.

And I want to just look at another passage this morning.

Now, I told everybody up front when I started this, what the purpose of this channel was.

And the purpose of this channel was just to preach Jesus.

Now, in spite of all the efforts, they had been thrown at me to change this into something else.

They have failed, and we're still going to talk about Jesus.

In the book of John, chapter 12 Jesus had we had just done the the triumphal entry and and he had just before this he had raised Lazarus from the dead.

Verse number 20 says and there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast

now we need to understand these are Greeks these are not Jews but they came and they were probably

proselytes people had converted to the Jewish religion because of God it doesn't say that I'm just

assuming okay but they came up to Jerusalem to worship at the feast now converted to the Jewish religion because of God. It doesn't say that. I'm just assuming, okay.

But they came up to Jerusalem to worship at the feast. Now, you only go in that day, in that time,

you only went to Jerusalem to worship, the only worship at Jerusalem, big time worship, was the temple,

was the Jewish religion.

And so you go to the temple.

And so these guys had come up to worship at the temple.

Now, in Jerusalem at that time was the third temple.

Solomon had built the temple to God. it was basically at that time one of the

the wonders of the world it was it was it was spectacular it had been destroyed

in war and and then it had been rebuilt and but it had been rebuilt.

But it had been rebuilt very conservatively.

They were poor, Solomon was super rich,
