Greetings Clark World Citizens. I hope this podcast finds you will. Now ever

since I started with Clark's World magazine, I've always had this dream that I would have my own

little recording closet in which to narrate your stories. Well as I came back from

a trip, my brother had surprised me with building me my own little

recording closet. And knowing what a big Dr. Hoofan I am, he also decided that he was going to

decorate it in the form of a Tartis. So if you follow Clark's world at all on Twitter or Facebook.

I'm going to try to put on some pictures of his magnificent work,

but I am literally reading this next story to you from within a Tartis and it is pretty freaking cool.

So aside from some sad news in the passing of Ann McCaffrey early last week.

There isn't any other news that I can come up with to share with you at this point,

so if you were a fan of Anne McCaffrey and enjoyed her novels, especially the Perns series, she will be missed.

So to jump into our first piece of fiction for the month of December 2011, it's a piece

entitled Sirius by Ben Peek.

I have a little bit of a biography for this new author to Clark's Rilt. Ben is the Sydney-based

author of three novels, 26 Lies One Truth, Black Sheep, and most recently above below,

with Stephanie Campisi. His short fiction has appeared in numerous

publications including anthologies and magazines such as Paper Cities

Leviathan Forever Shores and in numerous years best anthologies. He has a doctorate in literature and

has published reviews and criticism, a psycho-geographical pamphlet, an autobiographical comic, nowhere near Savannah, which was illustrated by Anna Brown.
