I first encountered the remarkable Trevor Nunn at the New College of Humanities in London,

where we were both visiting lecturers.

Trevor attended my classes during which he asked the most incisive questions of everyone.

Sir Trevor Nunn is one of the most accomplished theater directors alive. Among his many positions, he served as

artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theater, and may be the

first director since Shakespeare to direct all of Shakespeare's works. His unique insights

into the man and his life made for a remarkable conversation. But Trevor's talents and

interests go way beyond Shakespeare. For instance, he brought the original Katz production, Anne-Lé-Mizraib,

to Broadway, for which he won two of his four Tony Awards.
