So Thomas and the troll by Chris Michaels. So Thomas felt backwards, rolled onto his

side and back onto his feet. The site that welcomed him sent shocks of terror to his heart.

The ground had opened up to reveal the most hideous troll that the brave knight had ever laid eyes on.

The troll stomped and stamped in an attempt to squash the young warrior. However,

every time Sir Thomas managed to escape.

Sir Thomas, you must flee. Run whilst you can.

His prize called. The rescue of Princess Katie, the most beautiful princess in the whole

kingdom, was the young knight's quest. He had spent months tracking the beast that had kidnapped her.

Across barren deserts and snowy wastelands, the young knight had fought goblins and trolls.

But finally he'd found her and no troll no matter how ugly would stand in his way.

Sir Thomas dodged the troll's thick tree-like leg as it swung.

Rolling once more, he sprung back onto his own steady legs and levelled his sword.

Fear not, Princess Katie, I'll despatch this beast in but a moment.

You can't, Sir Thomas, he's too strong!

The young warrior had to admit that the princess was correct. The troll that stood before him was twice

as large and three times as ugly as any he'd seen before. However, Sir Thomas had a secret.

The troll stamped his foot down towards Sir Thomas once again, and again when it landed,

the young knight wasn't there anymore. As the rough thick leg had come down,

the brave warrior ducked between the towering beast's legs, taking his trusted sword,

he leapt up into the air behind the troll and pierced the mighty beast's backside.
