Hello pod, I'm Chris Huwet and welcome to a very special edition of the Empire podcast,

very special and very sad indeed.

Earlier today in the news broke that the legendary Sir Roger Mourdie III and for many the

best James Bond had died at the age of 89.

We loved Sir Roger here at Empire, he was always friendly and generous to us, he had a

treasure trove of amazing anecdotes and he was the epitome of class.

And so when we started thinking of a way to pay suitable tribute to the great man, we

remember that he'd come to our pod booth way back in 2012, back when the podcast was

in his infancy for a long interview, really long interview that covered pretty much every

aspect of his illustrious career from Bond to non-bond alike.

And we even got asked about his perfect Christmas dinner.

Now for reasons that escape us, this podcast seems to have disappeared from my tunes, so

we've decided to present it to you again.

So pour yourself a dry martini, shaken, not stirred, and raise your eyebrow to the highest

mass possible as Neil Alcock, Nick Desemlin and I talk to the late great Sir Roger Mour.

I say this all the time on the Empire podcast, I always say we're delighted to be joined

in the pod booth by such and such, but in this case it is a genuine delight and an honor
