Welcome to slow more. My guest today is Sir Peter Vardy. If you've lived in England you've probably heard the name Vardy.

He's the British businessman and philanthropist who is one of the wealthiest men in the UK.

Having had a great success in the automotive industry, Sir Peter's life acts as a guide for many of us of what we should aspire

to be.

For quite some time after he sold his business, he's been focused on philanthropy through his personal

foundation, the Vardi Foundation, which supports a wide range of community causes. He helped to fund the building of a city

technology college, three academies which together form the

Emmanuel Schools Foundation. which together form the Emmanuel School's Foundation, a coalition of schools with a Christian

ethos. His foundation continues to make grants and provide support to a wide range of charitable causes including fighting

homelessness and modern day slavery, establishing hospitals and food banks, providing education to children, and one of my favorite keeping children out of care, not out of the care of their family, but out of care facilities and care services.

For all of his effort he was granted a knighthood in the UK.

It's not every day that you come across a businessman who's had a story of success

followed by a story of giving that is similar to what we're going to talk about today,

Sir Peter Vardy.
