doubtless remember the embarrassing missteps that the Obama administration took in trying without

success to dissuade some of its allies from joining his founding members. These days, though,

one hears very, very little criticism of the bank as the initial skepticism over its governance

and its environmental standards and so forth. Concerns over Beijing's control of the bank

have largely, if not entirely, subsided. But AIIIB has been

quite active, especially considering its relatively small capitalization and the small size of the
