The So, How are you, Ed? Pretty good. Yeah, in enjoying the sunshine, you? Same, yeah. obviously we should start with the big news of the week so as

we record this the only official statement that came out was on Friday when we all learned that Sir Alex Ferguson

had suffered from a brain hemorrhage and been operated on and was recovered the

operation had gone well and he was recovering in intensive care. So by the time you hear this the news

may have moved on but that's where we're at with it so hopefully I mean the family

understandably requested privacy so it's not like we're going to be getting

regular news updates or anything but yeah it was it was tough and there's been an outpouring of

love obviously from everyone in the United community but but beyond that a really sort of

universal reaction and a very a huge reaction from the football world at large.

Yeah, there has been, yeah,

loads of support from his former players,

from other clubs, from other managers, even from city fans, during some game they played yesterday

when they lifted some silver thing and then dropped it by the way. But yeah, no, universal respect for folks and even if they were rival

supporters or managers, a good statement from Liverpool, obviously you, lots of love from United Fans.

He's not dead yet though, of course.

I thought Daniel Taylor and The Guardian struck just about the right tone, you know, saying, he opened his piece by saying,

I'm very worried that Ferguson could end up reading this, pouring over the details

and he'll come back to me if this sounds like an obituary so you know he the the what we've heard is very little of course but it was a reasonably positive statement saying that the operation had gone well and he was recovering in intensive care.

So you know, fingers crossed.

Yeah, I mean, of course we all hope that he makes a full recovery and has a good few

years left and I'm far from an expert on the subject but given that statement it seems
