and he conducted a program of his own works, the three early

Well of course they were then only just knew, we call them the early ones now, but those three and the Mozart G-mina Symphony.

And they told me in the orchestra that he spent the first three quarters of an hour rehearsing his three pieces

then they said now let's get to business and he spent the next five hours rehearsing the Mozart.
