Here's what's going on. And I'm going to just quickly explain it because Janessa is going to come on and explain it again. I don't want to be too redundant, but just for the purposes of introing here.

Janessa keeps an eye out on all kinds of stories, science stories, studies, all kinds of stuff. And sometimes she finds

stuff that's interesting but short and therefore was never an episode. But she's collected a number

of those. And so we've got a little variety hour for you. In this episode, we're going to talk about

a story that spread that shows how much news is terrible and doesn't check or do their homework.

Don't want to give that away, but that's roughly that. And then one that you may have seen,

you may have seen this because I know I saw it. People referring to Texas not being read,

but instead being rigged. And there are claims that actually there's more Democrats than Republicans in Texas. It's

just that there's, you know, voter suppression, gerrymandering, other things like that. And it's more

of a mentality problem and a turnout problem than a numbers problem. And we'll find out if that's

actually true from someone who not only knows science and data and studies and numbers and statistics but also works in voting. So it's perfect. So those are our two little stories for this one.
