Today I'm going to be speaking about the events at Evergreen College

and doing my best to get to the bottom of it

in a skeptical way.

A lot of people have asked for my take on this. I

resisted it a little bit because I'm interested in broader politics and world

events and everything but I just after looking into it a little bit I opened that Pandora's box a little bit and now I I just can't help but want to do my best to set up the factual record in a way that might help people to make decisions how they feel about it.

So let's get right over to that. You know I need to say this skepticism is not easy.

Getting to the bottom of things is not easy.

You know what is easy?

Having a pre-formulated agenda

and fitting facts into that agenda.

That's incredibly easy.

It's satisfying.

It feels good. Oh, we were right all along. Oh, I was right. Here's another example. And nowhere was there a better indication of this than in Tucker Carlson's segment with Brett Weinstein where the title is

campus craziness. It's a segment that the Fox News people focus on a lot because they

need a villain and they need a reason to feel like they are victims.

And my contention is that the campus craziness is a great way to appeal to an older, wider audience that thinks the darn kids need to get off their lawn

and is a good way to keep them fired up about the other side.

And nothing fits better into that mold than some videos of some students yelling at a

professor and better yet when you can get the professor on to talk about how the students

have lost their minds. That really fits a predefined agenda well.
