And I have planned a episode that has nothing to do with that at all.

I actually just didn't know it was episode 420

until literally this moment.

So sorry about that, but instead,

I've got an amazing conversation.

This was one of those ones that was slotted for the usge and went double the use.

So this is a surprise two-parter and very much worthwhile because we talked for a gosh a couple hours at least and of course I

edited all that down to be much more clear and manageable.

As such we've got two great parts for you.

My guest today is Alejandro Ruiz. He's going to tell us about his

background so I won't go too much into that here, but he wrote a very fascinating

blog post about a year back maybe two called technological anti solutions the article got a lot of attention and

Alejandro is so much fun to talk to we talked about technology what it's for what it isn't for when it goes wrong when it's for, what it isn't for, when it goes wrong, when it's just downright

counterproductive, and when it's being sold as kind of a lie to fix a problem that it can't fix.

And so much more, this went lots of places. And so as I said, it's in two parts. I won't make you wait. I'll put them both out pretty close together. And so I'm excited to get on over to part one here. But first, if you're hearing this on Thursday, January 25th,
