I would say it's been a while if we didn't, you know, hadn't spent all a lot of time together,

all the time forever on philosophers and space, but also at American atheist convention and whatnot.

feed for these listeners. You're just the part of Thomas that is. I haven't but shoot. I want

to. Don't spoil. No, I guess it's the basic premise. The basic premise. No spoilers.

Oh, man, I've been hearing about the Sense Makers, and I don't know what it is. I've reached a

point. Look, I often think I'm too online relative to my audience. And so I try to explain

things from that perspective, imagining people who don't know what I'm talking about, you know,

and then now I've like with this, whatever the sense making bullshit is, that's past me.

I've got to go to the next up, you know, like the guru of online guru, Aaron,

explain to me as I would do to my audience what the fuck is a sense maker? What is this?

Can I care about this? Do I need to online? Yeah. Do I need to just tell me if I need to care

about this or if it's good or bad or what is it? Okay, so

the short answer is it's not the best thing in the world. It's not the worst thing in the world.

It could be bad. It could get better. It is a part of things that are generally bad,

but it may be the sort of less bad wing of those things. So what is Sense making?

There is a sort of classic psychology meaning, and then there is the sort of current

internet usage meaning. And they are related, but not identical. So the classic psychology

version is, you know, the process by which individuals understand what's going on around them,
