Hello and welcome to series in queries only this is episode 323 I'm Thomas and another

solo show I've got opinions that I barely feel like or worth sharing who marginally

worth sharing now I want to talk about this Joe Rogan thing I want to talk about the terrible

free speech arguments but I think it's this this is tough because so much of this has

already been said not only by everybody else in the world but also by me but at the same

time there's still the same terrible arguments around this kind of thing over and over

and over and over again and also I you know read a million things jotting down notes and

I feel like there's some some maybe some interesting and or entertaining things to say here

so here we go adding one more voice to the mix and then hopefully next week lens you'll

be back with some science I think it's a good good fun balance I don't know if I can

keep this up all the time but I'm gonna try to anyway let's talk about it here we go

unlike the properties of reddit I actually think I don't need to do a basic explainer

Joe Rogan I think all the facts are probably known but very quickly immensely popular

the most popular podcast I believe by some measures the Joe Rogan show and he has a host of

men on a show all that it's very man-centric show virtually always men at least a hype percentage

and he talks about men's stuff I actually love Joe Rogan as a fight commentator he's always

been like honestly the best at that but I wish he just did that would be great for some reason

for years now I don't know decade more than a decade he's just got this podcast where he just

you know interview interviews I guess people in a in a way that I've always found

intolerable to listen to it's scatterbrained but not in an interesting way it's

scatterbrained in kind of a ignorant way kind of a gish-galopy way often his interviews would be

with people that I usually don't care about and over the years as we got toward 2016 all that it
