Blue news month. Yeah. It's, by the way, it's October 14th and it's 93 degrees where I am. Like, does it ever? No.

It's just summer all year round. And like, I know people must, some places must think that sounds amazing, but I'm tired of it.

Because like, it's not as though it stays 93. Like, it means like, you know, 108 most of the summer. And then like, eventually it gets down to the mere 95, 94.

And then by like November, maybe it'll be what, 85? I don't know. Like, does it ever end? Yeah, I used to live in Mississippi. So it was pretty awesome there too.

It's right. It's a dry heat though. It's a dry heat here. So it's all fine. Now, I know it is better. It is way better than humidity. But still, it still sucks.

When your car melts onto a puddle of, you know, molten terminator to fluid on the road, you know, it doesn't matter that it's a dry heat.

You're bringing back fond memories.

Yeah.

All right. Well, here's what we're here to do today. You might have gotten the impression. We kind of both realized based on the social dilemma episodes, which were great.

Check them out if you haven't heard them talking about some of the science behind the claims in the social dilemma documentary on Netflix.

It was, you know, maybe not entirely accurate in some places.

We did that. And, you know, we're thinking about it after the fact. I think both of us were thinking, you know, maybe this,

given that we kind of emphasized and talked about some of the places where the doc went wrong potentially.

We didn't want to leave people with the impression that like, okay, so therefore all social media is hunky-dory, everything's okay.

Yeah.

And I think we were careful to say that at the time. But, you know, it's worth going into, I think we both thought it would be worth going into some of the darker sides of social media.

Stuff that maybe should have been covered more in that documentary, don't you think?

Oh, yeah, absolutely. I mean, so those were my two major claims. It's like they spent all this time on these claims that were not very well supported.
