so for the main topic today what I really want to cover is Steve Bannon. We've heard so much about him about him. Maybe he's allegedly more president than Trump. So I wanted to learn more about who this guy is.

I really don't know that much about him.

I didn't.

But I sent Haley on the errand of doing some fantastic research all about Steve Bannon who he is

researching also his position within the Trump administration what's going on there

some of the power dynamics so all all that ahead. First just a couple of

quick stories news items. For one, yes, Devas was confirmed. Boy, I had hoped that maybe, maybe as a result of all the diligent

work and calls and everything that people who listen to the show have emailed me

saying they're doing and Democrats everywhere have been doing the calls the

emails all that to representatives still Devas got in it was a 50-50 vote the

first time I think ever I've seen mixed things but I either the first time or like the second time but

probably the first time there's ever been a tie-breaking vote on someone's cabinet

member so that's pretty crazy by the way Stein, for anyone who thought maybe she was the right

candidate for the job of president, she tweeted, and this is real, I checked this to make sure

she tweeted, why would we have a tie on such an egregious

nominee? Because Democrats serve corporate interests. Every single

Democrat voted against DeVos. Literally every Democrat voted against a

Voss and a couple Republicans did and that's why we got a 50-50 tie. So this is

nonsense and this is the kind of incompetence that you could expect from Jill Stein as a candidate
