All right, today we're going to be talking with Dr. Tofer Stevenson, chairman of the

board of directors of the Brain Injury association of California.

The way this came about actually is an old coworker of mine

got in a motorcycle accident and had a very serious brain injury and it completely changed his life.

He's in the long process of rehabilitation to try to get things back to how he was,

but it's really profound. It's been a really tough journey for him

he's doing really well all things considered but it's incredible how quickly our

entire lives can be changed by an injury to our brains.

And I wanted to learn more about that and also talk with Tover Stevenson about sports,

about the ethics of A, you know, or B, should we allow our children to play sports?

What are his views on that? Of course, that's always going to be a personal decision for anyone,

but what's his input on that what sports does he view is

safe and what might not be so much interesting stuff so many very difficult

issues to to work through so very excited to talk to him let's get over to it. I am joined now by Dr. Tover Stevenson. Thanks so much for coming on the show.
