Okay, the first one, paranormal.

One of my only two ghost stories so far.

Dear ladies, is disco lady from Texas, who now lives in Washington.

Because as we all know, you can take the girl out of Texas.

But you can't take the Texas out of the girl.

Plus, it sounds so much better than Washington.

Okay, that's funny, but also me doing it.

I was losing my Texas and I really lost it with the Washington.

I'm writing in again so soon because I don't want you run out of stories.

My first story is located in Austin.

I had a string of really terrible jobs in the late 90s, early 2000s, but at this point,

I was just working for the paycheck so I could

pursue my true calling, performing. I had just left a non-profit job where my boss never worked a

full five-day week in the entire year I worked there, and my coworker and I were always saddled

with her workload, as well as of our own, which really sucked. I took the first job offered to me, which was at a PR

firm on the east side of town, a scrappy woman-owned company located in a historic house. I adore

historical homes. So I was delighted to get to work in such a beautiful old house. The job itself was
