0:56.9	Hello, love you gals. We've talked about this. Anyway, this is my first email about true crime that
1:02.6	happened in Edmonton, Alberta. Trigger warning, the rape and murder of a child. I was seven years old
1:09.9	when this happened, so I don't remember the
1:11.5	actual event, but I did read about it in the paper as the story progressed and when they
1:16.6	finally caught a piece of shit. It was September 6, 1992. Two angels, Punky Gustavison and
1:23.8	Lindsay Knott were playing outside in the backyard when Punkie's dad stepped into the house
1:29.2	for a moment. And when he came back outside, his daughter was gone. I can't imagine the absolute
1:35.7	panic he must have felt at the realization that his daughter was missing and Punkie's poor friend.
1:41.8	Lindsay and another child saw the abductor throw her into a blue van and drive off.
1:46.7	A police search for Punkie began immediately.
1:49.6	I heard that her dad ran out in his socks and started looking for her.
1:53.5	Sadly, Punkie's body was found two days later when a man thought he saw a broken doll in a truck lot approximately six minutes from her home.
2:03.5	Punkie was raped and murdered.
2:05.0	A medical examiner said that the rape was so violent.
2:08.2	Punkie would have died from blood loss even if she hadn't been strangled.
2:12.1	The police found tire tracks and footprints that were from baseball cleats that thankfully were patented trade design
2:19.4	manufactured in Canada. Investigators were able to determine that Punky was killed in another
2:25.2	location and dumped in the truck lot like a piece of garbage. The case appeared on America's
