Sinister sightings, true crime.

Hey, ladies, my name is Ashley and I heard you from Let's Get Haunted podcast a while back and love listening.

This story happened in about 2012-ish when I was probably

18 years old. I lived in a town in Utah where there is a weird mix of retirees, college students,

and religious zealots. I myself in one of those previous religious zealots. Crime is fairly rare in this town.

I was at work in the beauty section at Walgreens, and it was dark or getting dark out.

All of a sudden, I heard a gunshot right outside the building.

I quickly walked to the back corner of the store in the beauty section to hide behind an aisle.

Oh, Lord. They said, I'll, and then in the beauty section to hide behind an owl. Oh, Lord.

They said, oh, and then in the parentheses, said owl, L-O-L.

I mean, oh, my God.

And peaked to the front of the store to watch who would walk in.

I immediately thought how either the victim or the shooter would walk in. Sure enough,

I see a girl shaking, looking terrified, walking in the store. I ran up to her to comfort her and

rushed her to the back of the pharmacy to have her sit down in the only chairs in the store. I probably

talked to a manager after that, and I think the police were called,

and we found out it was a drug dealing situation gone bad. Go figure. Parking lot of Walgreens,

am I right? Also, tell me why I had these immediate instincts to assess and respond to a shooting

in this manner at 18 years old. Who was I in a past life?
