I feel like I've been writing this story in my head for a couple of weeks now.

Now, I know why.

September 2nd. September 2nd.

September 2nd is not a date that I particularly want to put on my calendar as a day to remember as it's the day my mom passed away from her 14-year battle with breast cancer. This date, September

2nd, quite literally creeps up on me every year. My mother died in 2020 exactly four

years ago today. First off, she was an amazing human who would never hurt a fly and a heart of pure

gold. She was also the strongest person I've ever met. Fourteen years of chemotherapy alone

should have been enough of a fight, not to mention the tragedies that

happened throughout her life. However, nothing, and I mean nothing, ever let her be a negative

person, and she stayed so, so positive up until the end. So in honor my mother, who taught me

about the supernatural, who was a believer of all things, I'll tell you her ghost story. First off, me and my sister obviously spoke to her about visiting us in the afterlife when she

was in hospice care. She was at the point, barely talking, but she looked at me and told me she would

never haunt me or scare me, kind of in a joking manner, and told my sister she would haunt her.

So two funerals, yes, my mother had two funerals, such a princess, but deserving, and maybe

about six months to a year later, I had heard absolutely nothing for my mother, just as I left it,
