Carolyn McCulley says more of us need to be saying this kind of thing to our employers.

I'm not going to take that promotion or I'm not going to take that step because then I wouldn't be free to serve in the church.

I couldn't serve as a small group leader. I couldn't head this ministry team because this job requires me to travel too much.

And that, whether you do that as a married person or as a single person is absolutely radical in our culture.
