Had a chance to spend a little bit of time on the phone with Adam Thielen, and great to talk to him, not only about getting started with the football season, but mostly about Twin City Summer Jam, and how his charity, the Adam Thielen Foundation, is involved this year.

Adam things are rolling at TCO. It's football season, at least many camp in OTAs. How's it going so far in the heat?

It's been good, honestly. It's nice to be back out there with the teammates and rolling around and sweating a little bit, but like I said, it's just great to be around the teammates again.

And nobody's wearing masks or anything like that, right? I mean, you guys are full on back. Everybody's vaccinated and it's back to normal football again.

For the most part, we're getting close. We still do have to do from protocols, but once we're on the field and outside, you know, working out things like that, it's back to normal.

So I'm excited to get back to fully normal and getting the fans back in the stands playing in that stadium.

When you guys score touchdown or make a tackle or something like that with no fans, I know it's still football, but that's a whole different story.

Yeah, I think sometimes, you know, you before this all you took it for granted, you know, and you just kind of it was normal, right?

So you didn't think much of it other than it was great, obviously, but now more than ever, you appreciate it.

You appreciate every single fan that's in there, making noise, making it tough on the opponents and really getting us juiced up and ready to roll.

Yeah, and you guys have made so many improvements, obviously the draft, but in free agency and such like that, especially on defense, I would guess that the feeling around the locker room is just probably a little bit different.

Yeah, it is for sure. I think guys are just excited to be back. You know, we have such a great locker room. And like you said, just the pieces that we've added.
