As I step up to the microphone, it's a hot summer day in London.

I suspect if you're listening to this immediately it goes out, it's actually the winter.

So I'm enjoying lovely weather.

Sindhu V has already been on the show once.

That was over Zoom.

She was so good, she made such a great impression

that I wanted to talk to her again.

So in August, she came into the Voxpodge studio in Fulham,

and we caught up.

You'll know Sindu from her stand-up that's appeared on

stuff like live at the Apollo. She's been on Mock the Week, la da-da, and then she's moved seamlessly

across into acting. You might have seen her in sex education. She was in the second season

of that. She was in Rose Matafayo's Starstruck, and the thing that I noticed her most in was the big-screen

adaptation of the Matilda musical. In the course of our conversation, we cover a million things.

You'll notice towards the end that my research wasn't as strong as it could have been

because she's very much given the impression in this interview

that the acting isn't such a big deal

and then she told me all the stuff she'd shot

that hasn't come out yet.
