Today, we're taking you to the Amazon region of Puerto Misaguayi in Ecuador.

Here in the rainforest, Mother Nature rules, with lush plants and trees nearly everywhere you look is green.

But there are also pops of bright colors from the sorts of exotic flowers that you can only find in a rainforest.

Many fruits and vegetables growing this part of the world like the cacao tree.

This tree gives birth to one of my favorite treats, chocolate.

There are also plenty of ponds filled with tilapias, which is a fish that is often eaten here as part of a delicious meal served with rice, beans and a side of yuca.

What's even more unique about this place is its name, Sinchiguarmi.

Sinchiguarmi, translated as Spanish, means female valientes or female sources.

Sinchiguarmi means strong, brave woman.

And the name is in Quitua, an indigenous language in Ecuador.

Sinchiguarmi was founded by the Quitua woman in this community.

It's an eco-friendly resort where visitors can escape into a jungle hideaway.

Doñabete Chimbo.

I was in a small apartment in Queens while Doñabete was sitting down inside a hut in the jungle.

I feel young enough and strong enough to continue to work.

Doñabete is 49 years old and a mother of seven children.
