He died, and they went to look for someone else to write the second draft, and what they thought, well, we know this name. Maybe it'll work.

No, I wrote it based on a very, very loosely based on Mike's parents as a teenager, as a teenage nerd idiot, in a small town in Canada getting an exchange student.

And I thought, well, it's sort of based on me, and I know my own name, and I'll remember it. Why don't I just name it after me?
