Hello, how are you? Good to be here.

Yeah, absolutely. So you wrote a movie called The Exchange that has a character named Tim Long.

I know, it's weird. It's weird. It's really strange.

Yeah, it wouldn't be funny if I were to say, well, this wasn't originally my project, and another screenwriter started it.

He died, and they went to look for someone else to write the second draft, and what they thought, well, we know this name. Maybe it'll work.

No, I wrote it based on a very, very loosely based on Mike's parents as a teenager, as a teenage nerd idiot, in a small town in Canada getting an exchange student.

And I thought, well, it's sort of based on me, and I know my own name, and I'll remember it. Why don't I just name it after me?

I have deeply rude that decision occasionally. Yeah.

But, you know, what are you going to do? No looking back?

How close would you say, Ed Oxenbold comes to you being Tim Long?
