Hey everybody, this is Jonathan Watkins, one of the co-hosts of this episode of The Sincast.

0:04.4

I just wanted to give you all a heads up that we had to record this in a little bit of a different

0:08.7

format that we normally do. It was kind of a last minute audible, if you will, and there ended

0:15.6

up being a few technical difficulties or some audio hiccups specifically with Chris's audio track,

0:22.0

and there is a bit of a delay that occasionally you can hear. We did edit around it as best we could,

0:27.6

but some of it still stands. I think you'll still really enjoy the interview. The good thing is

0:33.8

Ivan sounds amazing, the director that we're interviewing of the new movie Sun, which I highly,

0:39.2

highly recommend you check out, and that movie will be available on March 5th, and so without

0:45.6

further ado, here is the interview. Enjoy. I'd find victims for her if I loved her, you know?

1:22.5

It is writer-director Ivan Kavanaugh, who has written and directed a movie called Sun

1:28.5

that is coming out in theaters, on-demand, and digital March 5th. Welcome, Ivan.

1:34.2

Thank you, very pleased to be here. Yeah, you said you were in Sweden currently?

1:40.0

Yeah, yeah, my wife is Swedish, and we have a place here, so we spent parts of the time in Sweden,

1:45.8

and parts of the time in Ireland, but I think this might be the first year where we spent almost

1:49.8

a four-year here, so I'm testing it out, because we have a five-year-old now, and he's nearing

1:55.2

skill-age, so we have to choose. We can't keep moving back and forth, you know? That's fun.

2:01.0

Yeah, no kidding. Yeah, I'm listening already, you know? I'm one of these people who never

2:06.4

in their entire life listen to Irish traditional music, and ever since I got here, I've been listening

2:12.0

to Irish traditional music all the time, so I think that's the sign I need to go home quick.
