George, welcome. Thank you for having me. Fantastic. Yeah, absolutely. So, you wrote Vanquish with

Samuel Bartlett. Yes. Yes. I was just wondering what the inspiration for the story was.

You'd have to ask Sam, I don't have a clue. He wrote the first draft, and he was very gracious.

He gave it to me. He said, what do you think? I said, I could absolutely destroy this for you.

And I read it, and it was pretty much the same premise, but then I called Morgan Freeman.

It was a friend of mine. I've done two other movies. So, I said, hey Morgan, I said,

in the movie, it's a cop that's still a cop, but you wouldn't maybe we'll make him a retired

police commissioner, and he said, great. So, then we started working on the script,

you know, Morgan and I talked back and forth, and then Ruby came on board. Her character was

a little different in the first draft. She's maybe more of a victim, you know, and we made her more

victim slash perpetrator. Yeah. So, anyway, they kind of evolved into the movie that it is.
