First off, what did you guys think of this version of Hamilton that was on stage? They shot it at Richard Rogers, I guess over three different days or whatever.

This production, what do you guys think about this one that's on Disney Plus?

It's about as good as I think it could be.

There are a few moments where the tight shots rob the viewer of what I remember being cool, wide shots of what's happening on the whole stage.

Yes.

But I think the tight shots work because they show the emotion on the performer's faces, even sometimes tears, real or fake,

which you can't quite see from the 20th row back.

I was wrong. I need to clarify something. the this and the new guy graciously stepped aside for the filming and let Gough come back and do the role again so that it would be the complete original cast.
