Hello. And Jonathan Watkins. Hello, hello.

Today we have a very special guest. It is director Lena Rossler, who has made a movie called Best Sellers, that is in theaters and on demand September 17th.

Lena, welcome.

Thanks. Hey everyone. Happy to be here.

Yeah. How did you get involved with this project?

Well, I was part of a talent lab at TIFF at the Toronto Film Festival.

And yeah, they take about 20 sort of emerging filmmakers from around the world.

And then you're supposed to make a self-portrait film, like a two-minute self-portrait, which is everybody's worst nightmare, obviously.

And so we all had to do it. And I've made mine.

And at this lab, there are mentors that come to guide you and help you.

And one of the mentors was a guy named Cassie and Elwiz, who has been an amazing producer.

And yeah, the first day of the lab, we all had to present our self-portraits in a huge screen in the theater.

Everybody was like hiding under the sea.

Everyone's like nauseous with fear and anticipation.

But yeah, for whatever reason, Cassie and he really loved my self-portrait.
