And, you know, the thing that I was going through when I was watching this movie was certain elements of it reminded me of Duncan Jones's moon and I noticed that you were a conceptual designer on Moon.

Yeah I mean that's honestly not a coincidence. Yeah, myself and Duncan, we were actually living together in a, in a, in a, in a flat sharing.

We were flat buddies for like 10 years before Moon.

We just, we worked on everything together together so we met when he was at still

at film school and I was working in a games company wanting to be a CG artist and well

was a CG artist but wanting to do you know you're always trying to do more you're always trying to do kind of better work and this is back in like the mid 90s and so yeah we just became friends and just started working together on things.

And, you know, he was going through the whole process of just graduating film school, so he's trying to get like, you know videos commercial work things like that and we just

work together on everything I was like the kind of art side of his brain really and he'd be the writer

and I do all the art stuff and design it and that got me into doing

visual effects and I just basically do all the visual stuff and it was just a pair of us working

at home and you know we were trying to, the ultimate goal was to make a film and it took us like 10 years to get moon made
