Good morning, everybody.

Welcome to the Kirk Cameron Show, Monday morning.

Bible, devotional.

I'm feeling great.

James, how you feeling this morning?

Feeling good?

You know, I've reminded myself of what's most important.

Coffee in the morning and a heart full of gratitude.

And the scriptures say that no matter how I feel I should give thanks in all circumstances,

be joyful always, and to pray continually.

So, even though there's things I feel annoyed about, even though there's things that are

disappointing to me and maybe frustrating or irritating, I'm giving thanks for all of it,

continuing to pray and asking God to fill my heart with joy.

I submit to you that your heart is the problem, not frustrating people, not places, not situations,

or demons.

Those are just the places where the sin of your heart gets revealed.

I remember when the kids were little. James, you might even remember this if you were born at

this point. Luke was really little. He came in the house crying his eyes out, bawling and wailing.

And we said, what's wrong? He said, Bella. Bella did it. And so we called Bella in. Bella was a couple of years older. And we said said what's wrong he said Bella Bella did it and so we called

Bella in Bella was a couple years older and we said what happened she said I hit him in the head

we said why did you hit him in the head and she did not say because of the selfishness in my own heart

she's like because he threw an acorn at me.
