| 0:19.0 | Sin makes you miserable. |
| 0:21.0 | So often we look around and we see people doing whatever they |
| 0:26.6 | want, living a life that doesn't submit to the Ten Commandments or the |
| 0:31.3 | teaching of Jesus or the Moral Instruction of the Church. |
| 0:35.6 | And we think, well, these people look totally happy. |
| 0:39.2 | In fact, a lot of the time they seem to be having a better life than I am. |
| 0:45.0 | But of course, that's not true. |
| 0:48.0 | Because if you're far from God and His truth, |
| 0:52.0 | then you're going to inevitably fall into sin. |
| 0:56.0 | And sin makes you miserable, because... |
| 1:01.0 | Why does sin make us miserable? |
| 1:04.0 | Because it separates us from God's goodness, |
| 1:07.0 | and it separates us from the goodness of other people. |
| 1:10.0 | And it even makes you attack your own goodness. |
| 1:15.0 | And that's not a happy way to live. |
| 1:20.0 | Our Father who worked in heaven, hallow would be your name, thy kingdom come, |
| 1:26.0 | thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. |
| 1:28.3 | Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into |
