Summary

An awareness of sin is Satan's number one weapon to keep believers stagnant and paralyzed in one place. His strategy is to constantly remind us of our mistakes so that he can control us through guilt and shame. This spiritual paralysis is not a good place to be because being conscious of sin keeps us from receiving the liberty that Jesus gave us. The battle started in the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned and went from being innocent to feeling guilty, ashamed, and afraid. This led to the temporary establishment of the Mosaic Law until Jesus came. Now that grace has come, God invites us to live under it so that sin will no longer have dominion over us. Thankfully, because of what Jesus did, we have been pardoned, forgiven, and declared innocent.

1:32.5	Everybody else says this, and I understood that approval addiction just kind of kept me from digging.
1:46.9	But since I've been delivered from approval addiction, I've just been digging into everything to the point where it just, you know, so you'll see what I'm saying. So this is going to last for about a month and a half because I want to take my time because I cannot assume that somebody in here today
1:53.5	has heard something that we started off with 13, 14 years ago in the beginnings of this grace.
2:01.6	So this series is going to be a series,
2:04.6	and we're going to deal with sin consciousness
2:09.6	versus innocence consciousness.
2:15.6	Sin consciousness versus innocence
2:19.3	versus innocence consciousness and I believe it is the number one weapon
2:29.3	that Satan has used to keep the believer stagnant and paralyzed in that same place.
